Blade front and adjustable notch rear sights on a rifled Damascus barrel script marked in silver "A.W. Edel In Leipzig", with a light silver floral pattern at the breech. Tang peep sight, fish sculpted hammers, and double set triggers. Scroll engraved lock plates, upper tang, hammer sides, and hammer stops, with game scenes on the lock plates and on top of the frame. Fancy checkered full length stock featuring a checkered wood patch box, a carved animal's head on the forearm, and a carved scroll pattern around cheekpiece, with horn forend tip, trigger guard, and buttplate.

Very good. The barrel is a brown patina with most of the Damascus pattern with some scattered mild spotting and pitting. The action has a mixed gray patina. The revarnished stock has been repaired at the wrist, otherwise good with a minor crack on the forearm, worn checkering, and some minor dings, scratches and pressure marks. The buttstock sling swivel stud has been removed. Action needs work as the hammer does not hold at the full cock position.
