It still retains the Chrysanthemum and Kanji marking on top of the receiver, with the serial number and Nagoya arsenal proof on the left side of the receiver and a matching numbered dust cover. It has the military style tangent rear sight graduated to 1500 meters with the anti-aircraft wings and the inverted "V" front sight with guards. In addition to the standard markings, both the front and rear section of the takedown have a matching assembly number "402" and the underside of the barrel lug is marked "544" which corresponds to the serial number. It has a smooth mahogany stock, with full length hand guard and drain hole ahead of the take down mechanism. There are small Kanji markings present on the underside of the stock below the pistol grip. It is fitted with the side mounted sling swivels and a cupped metal butt plate.

Rating Definition:

Excellent plus overall with 99% of the bright original blue finish with minor edge and high spot wear overall. The stock and hand guards are all in excellent condition with nice matching color and minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Appears unissued.
