Description:

Blade is 26 1/4" long, with a smooth hamon, gold finished copper habaki, and silver and gold seppa. Gilt finished brass tsuba, with chrysanthemum designs and gilt finish. Military style tsuka, with brown cord wrap, military menuki, and a silver family mon seal applied to the rear of the kashira. The nakago is hand signed (four symbols) on the right side, with an additional 5 stamped symbols on the left. Military saya, with leather cover.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. A few small scratches are visible on the blade, along with a tiny amount of pitting on the left side near the habaki. Hamon is very strong, and the gilt components retain over 85% of the original finish. A small amount of staining is visible on the wrap. The mekugi is absent. The leather sheath cover is good, with some scuffs and wear.
