Rating Definition:

1) Very good. A patch of brown spotting is visible on the left side of the blade just above the habaki, along with some light handling marks. Saya is clearly visible. A crack is forming in the habaki. Consignor notes state that the tang is shortened. Fittings are very good, with some mild dents and scratches. 2) Good, with dents, spotting, sharpening marks and signs of handling on the blade. Tsuba shows light wear and is slightly ill-fitting, and minor dents are present on the saya.
