Manufactured in 1918. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address/1884, 1900 and 1905 patent dates, the left side is marked OFFICERS MODEL 38" flanked by Maltese crosses and the left side plate is marked with the rampant Colt. Elevation adjustable front and windage adjustable rear sights, checkered trigger, hammer and backstrap and fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions.

Excellent. The revolver retains 90% plus faded original blue finish with some wear on the muzzle and high edges, and thinning on the front strap and top of the backstrap. There is a drag line on the cylinder. The grips are excellent with a few minor dings and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
