Description:

Cone front and groove rear sights, with "PETTENGILLS/ PATENT 1856" on the right side of the sighting groove and "RAYMOND & ROBITAILLER/ PATENTED 1858" on the left. The barrel, frame and cylinder are all marked "WP", with matching numbers on the cylinder and butt. Smooth two piece grips with a faint cartouche on the left pane. With notes from the consignor.

Rating Definition:

Good, cleaned bright with scattered minor pitting and handling marks. Grips are fine, slightly undersized, with minor pressure dents and chipping. Cylinder hand needs part as cylinder does not rotate, otherwise mechanically functions.
