Description:

Manufactured in 1861. Standard New York barrel address, "COLTS / PATENT" on left side of frame, and the Texas Navy scene on the cylinder. Matching full serial number on the cylinder, barrel, frame, trigger guard, and backstrap, with the partial serial number on the wedge and loading lever. Fitted with a smooth one piece grip.

Rating Definition:

Good. The metal surfaces have been cleaned and have since aged back to a silver gary patina. There is some minor pitting with some deeper pitting mostly on the loading lever. Some traces of the cylinder scene remains. The undersized, refinished grip is otherwise good with a chipped toe and a series of minor pressure marks on the bottom, along with some scattered minor handling marks overall. Mechanically fine.
