This is an early original H&K semi-automatic pistol that was developed as a shortened version of the H&K 94 rifle. The right side of the magazine well is marked "Made In W-Germany / HK Inc. / Sterling VA.", the left side is marked with the caliber and the top of the receiver is marked "HK, SP-89 serial number eagle/N" Ulm factory proofmark. It is equipped with round drum rear sight, hooded front sight and one 15 round magazine. Complete with original box numbered to the gun, papers, and factory barrel straw which consignor states is uncommon. Consignor also states that the H&K SP89 semi-automatic pistol was only imported for two years, and that this pistol has had only one owner.
