The Deutsch Sportmodell was a popular training arm with the Nazis in the pre-war years. Blade and tangent sights, with "1935/ Waffenstadt/ (crest)/ Suhl" on the chamber, and caliber and model markings on the barrel. In addition, both the barrel and receiver are stamped with (captured) Birmingham "crown/ BNP" proofs, and the barrel has caliber, muzzle diameter and tonnage markings. Smooth pistol grip stock with a flat buttplate, stamped "RFSS" in a circle on the right side of the buttstock.

Excellent, with 90% plus of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina on the barrel, pitting concentrated near the muzzle and mild handling marks. Stock is fine, with pressure dents and scratches overall. Mechanically excellent.
