Known officially as the "Honor Weapon of the Political Leaders". The PPK pistols with these special grips were presented to NSDAP officials for meritorious party service by the Fuhrer. This particular pistol has the upper left side of the slide marked with the presentation inscription: "Ehrenpreis zum Wettkampf-Pistolenschlessen des Gaues Franken / der NSDAP am 10. u 11. Juni in Freucht.". The lower left side of the slide is marked with the standard Walther banner, address, caliber designation and "Mod. PPK". The right side of the barrel at the chamber and slide below the ejection port are marked with the pre-war commercial "crown / N" proofmark and the serial number is marked on the right side of the frame. The pistol is fitted with the one piece brown plastic wrap around grips that are checkered and have the NSDAP eagle holding a wreath encircled swastika insignia cast on the top of the both sides. The pistol has a side magazine release, lanyard loop at the bottom of the frame, 60 degree safety lever, and cartridge indicator pin. The magazine has a brown plastic finger extension and is marked with the Walther banner on the lower left side. Complete with a brown flap holster marked "SA" on the back and marked with an "eagle / C" on the lower flap.

Professionally refinished with 98% finish remaining. There is a small area on the right front of the slide where the finish has flaked and high edge wear on the muzzle end of the slide. The markings have been refreshed and remain clear. The grips are excellent, absent of any cracks, showing little wear and having crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is very good with some minor usage wear and all tight stitching. A nice Walther PPK pistol with original Party Leader grips and presentation inscription.
