Produced in Thuringen in 1945. Hooded blade front and tangent rear sights, with no legible Waffenamt proofs on the barrel or receiver. Matching bolt numbers, with stamped components. "mub" stamped on the floor plate and underside of the receiver. Smooth laminate stock, with a faint "eagle/ swastika" proof on the right side of the butt and a cupped buttplate. With a scarce late-War phosphate finish "4sqx" code bayonet, numbered sheath and pigskin leather short frog.

Excellent, with 90% plus of the original phosphate finish, showing areas of brown patina, along with scattered pitting and handling marks. Pitting is visible on the trigger guard and buttplate, with a screw absent from the latter. Stock is very fine, with some chipping at the butt and scattered dents and scratches. Bayonet is excellent. Mechanically excellent.
