Blade and tangent sights, with "standing lion" proofs on the barrel and receiver ring, "BRNO" address on the sidewall, and "Mod.98/ dou.45" on top of the ring. Stamped components, with later-style barrel bands, enlarged trigger guard and matching bolt. Smooth stock, with "P" penciled into the sling cutout and a cupped buttplate. With a "44agv" (Berg, Solingen) bayonet with 9 3/4" blade, smooth wood grips, metal sheath and canvas frog. Appears unissued.

Excellent plus, with 99% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina on the barrel and takedown catch, minor pitting on the barrel bands, scattered spotting and mild handling marks. Stock is also excellent, with some darker areas, tiny chips and pressure dents. Bayonet is excellent, with some bright wear. Mechanically excellent.
