Made in 1944. Hooded blade and tangent sights, with "E", "bnz/ 1" shield and "WaA623" on the barrel and "eagle/ 623" and "bnz/ 44" on the receiver ring. Milled front band, other components stamped, with "byf" marked floor plate and trigger guard. Matching bolt numbers. Smooth stock with a brown leather sling and a cupped buttplate. With a "44cqh" (Clemen & Jung, Solingen) bayonet, 10" blade, ribbed grip, metal sheath and leather frog.

Excellent, with 95% of the original blue finish, showing a mixed gray on the barrel bands and barrel, minor pitting on the front sight hood and light handling marks. Stock is very fine, with scratches and pressure dents. Bayonet is excellent, with some bright wear, and the sling has some light scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
