The top of the receiver is marked "eagle/135 / byf / 44", the right side "eagle/135" and the left side is marked with the Nazi firing proof and the serial number. The left receiver wall is marked "Mod. 98", the rear of the barrel is marked with a Nazi firing proof and upper right side is marked "43 R 25". All visible numbers match, except the barrel bands which are unnumbered. Milled barrel bands, stamped floor plate and trigger guard, hooded front sight, tangent rear sight graduated to 2,000 meters, slotted cleaning rod and mounted with a pistol grip stock with matching hand guard, cupped buttplate and an original cross hatch leather sling. The right rear and wrist of the stock are marked with an "eagle/WaA135" proofmark.

Very good. The rifle retains at least 80% original blue finish with some thinning to a smooth gray and some high edge wear. The stock is also very good with scattered minor scuffs, dents and scratches. The sling is good. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
