This is a nice example of a late WWII Walther P38 pistol. The left side of the slide is marked with "P.38", the serial number and "ac 44" (in-line), the right side the single eagle firing proof and two "eagle/ 359" proofs. The 359 is repeated on the frame, barrel, and locking block which is numbered "731/ G". Fitted with ribbed plastic grips.

Excellent, with 90% of the original blue finish, showing some mild edge wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent, with minor scratching. Mechanically excellent.

Blade and notch sights, with "P.38", "byf/ 44" and the serial number on the left side of the slide, and "WaA135" and "eagle/ swastika" proofs on the right side, which are repeated on the barrel, locking block and frame. Matching serial numbers. Ribbed brown plastic grips.

Excellent, with 97% of the original blue finish, showing a small rough patch on the upper left side of the slide, light spotting, bright edge wear and mild handling marks overall. Grips are excellent, with a few small scratches. Mechanically excellent.
