Made between 1911 and 1946. Single bead sight with the Sterlingworth Fluid Steel marking on the right barrel and the Philadelphia address on the left barrel. Choked modified/full, 2-3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. Both sides of the action are stamped "STERLINGWORTH" with a light zigzag border engraving throughout the receiver and on the trigger guard. Checkered pistol grip stock with black checkered plastic grip cap and serrated plastic buttplate.

Very good as professionally refinished, with 99% of the high polished blue remaining, showing some minor handling marks and limited edge wear. Traces of case color in the protected areas of the frame, with a smooth silver patina on the remainder. The wood has been re-varnished with minor handling marks.

As A, with lowered mid-sight, Savage address on left barrel, full/modified chokes, "FOX STERLINGWORTH" on the sides of the frame, smooth grip cap and vented recoil pad. Length of pull 14".

Very good as refinished, with 90% of the current blue showing a small amount of pitting at the muzzle, minor scratches and a few areas of gray patina. 70% of the vivid case colors remain on the frame with a smooth gray patina on the remainder. Stock is very good as refinished, with mild scratches and varnish loss. Mechanically excellent.
