The top of the barrels are decorated with ornate gold inlay of floral and array of weapons designs at the breech end, a small area of floral designs near the muzzle and ornate "CHASTEAU PARIS" and the concave rib. The touch holes are decorated with gold inlay. Each lock is marked "INNES / & / WALLACE". The barrel is equipped with a blade front sight set about 5" back of the muzzle and the rear sight is a dished area on the barrel tang. Ornately engraved and relief chiseled silver trigger guard and buttplate. Mounted with a one piece straight grip half stock with a pineapple motif forend/ram rod pipe, silver wedge escutcheons and sling stud, and swivel.

Very good. The shotgun retains much of the patina brown finish with an attractive twist pattern on the barrels. The locks and hammers have a smooth grayish patina The mountings have an aged patina. Most of the gold inlay remains with some loss at the breech end of the barrels. The stock has been freshened with a coat of varnish and remains very good with a small replacement repair ahead of and above the rear of the left side lock and on the top between the barrel tang and right lock. There is some varnish loss and a few minor dings and dents. The stock remains solid. The markings and engraving remain crisp. The action is excellent.
