Description:

This knife was fabricated by Jim Sornberger who is a Knifemaker's Guild member from Volcano, California and is known for using a variety materials for his handles. This Sornberger knife features a 6 1/8 inch blade marked "J. Sornberger / maker". The oval guard is engraved. The ivory handle has slots filled with stripes of twisted silver and there are artful groves radiating from the handle finial that is set flush with the ivory. OAL: 10 1/4" Complete with a leather sheath with the front adorned with reptile skin and the back hand marked "SORNBERGER".

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with some scattered mild handling marks overall and a few barely noticeable hairline age cracks in the ivory near the butt.
