Jim Ence has handcrafted knives that have been compared to the craftsmanship of his long time friend and neighbor legendary knife maker Buster Warenski. For years Ence and Warenski scouted the hills of Utah looking for minerals and gemstones and each influenced the other in his knife making. This Ence dagger features a 7 inch blade marked "J F ENCE / RICHFIELD UT". The handle is fluted red coral, with five pieces of red coral inset on the rounded steel pommel. Inset pieces of coral also adorn the turned down steel guard and on the flat surfaces of the blade. OAL: 11 1/4"

Excellent, with a some minor scratches most on the guard. The coral is solid, with no noticeable cracks or chips.
