This is an example of a Damascus knife handcrafted by knife maker Ronald A. Frazier, an award winning member of the Knifemakers' Guild for over 30 years. This Frazier knife features a 16 3/4 inch Damascus blade with a trailing point and is marked "R.A. FRAZIER / maker". Blue finished fittings with smooth ivory handle. The top of the circular guard has three fine punch dot engraved intertwined circle motifs outlined in gold, which are accented with stain finished scrollwork, on both sides of the blade. The top and bottom of the guard have a gold inlaid border. The bolster has a stain finished scroll engraving on a black antiqued fine punch dot background with gold inlaid borders. The handle finial has the satin finished scrollwork as exhibited on the guard with a gold inlaid floral blossom. OAL: 22 1/4"

Excellent, with only the slightest handling marks. The blade retains most of the Damascus pattern and the fittings retain 99% plus of the blue finish, with the finish on the guard taking on a purple hue. The ivory has a nice grain pattern.
