Description:

This dagger was handcrafted by Willie Rigney. Now retired, award winning knifemaker Willie Rigney created some of the finest and most detailed pieces of his generation. His knives were generally high tech period pieces that were done in a number of different styles. This Rigney dagger features a 5 inch blade with a forged short guard. The flat sides of the blade and the pommel feature a floral scroll engraving on a black antiqued background, with "RIGNEY" in a banner on one side of the blade. The dagger has an ivory handle. OAL: 9".

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with a small hairline age crack on the ivory. Note that the ivory has age cracks that were filled in during fabrication, with the area around those cracks taking on a blue color. Overall the ivory has a nice grain pattern.
