This is an example of a knife handcrafted by W.W. Wood, a professional knifemaker for over 20 years and is known worldwide for his unique knives. Wood's knives have been featured in such publications as Blade, Knives Illustrated, and Ken Warner's Knives Annual Edition. This Wood knife features an 8 3/4 inch straight blade with a seven inch false edge. The blade is marked "W.W. WOOD / Grand Prairie, Texas". The brass front and rear bolsters feature scroll engraving by N.C. Foster. The top of the right front bolster is marked "1989 / ENGR. BY", with "N.C. Foster" on top of the left front bolster. Fitted with stag scales secured to the tang with two rivets. Complete with a W.W. Wood marked sheath. OAL: 13 1/2".

Excellent, with limited light spotting on the blade and numerous light scratches on the ricasso. The sheath is very good.
