This is a nice example of a late war Mauser HSc pocket pistol as produced for the Nazi Police during WWII. The left side of the slide has the Mauser Banner and two-line markings, "MAUSER-WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF a.N. Mod HSc.", the "Eagle/ Swastika F" Police proof (scarce) on the left rear of the trigger guard bow, and the "eagle/ N" on the right side of the trigger guard and slide. Fitted with checkered grips. This exact pistol is listed by serial number on page 228 under "Variation 3: E/F military finish of axis pistols Volume II by Jan Still.

Excellent, with 98% plus of the original blue finish, showing light handling marks and some extremely minor surface rust in the gripstraps. Grips are excellent, with some minor pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.

As A, with "eagle/ M" proofs on the trigger guard and front strap. With a European Theatre capture tag, dated 15 Nov 1956, for this pistol. This pistol is listed by serial number and identified as a variation 3, Mauser HSc Kriegs marine pistol on page 176 of Axis pistols volume II by Jan Still.

Excellent, with 98% of the original blue finish, showing extremely minor edge wear on the slide and backstrap and scattered barely noticable light surface rust overall. Grips are excellent, with light pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
