Description:

'Get your kicks on Route 66', or whatever highway you choose to travel with this trip back into the good old days of automobile history. This deep burgundy metallic convertible with a white soft top, flat head V8 engine with three speed column mounted shifter and overdrive, dual exhaust, blue dot tail light lenses, wide whitewall period tires on rims matching the body color and Ford marked nut cover style hub caps will carry you through your dream vacation or rally in nothing but pure style. The interior has been completely restored with tri-toned red/white striped cloth with black vinyl accented seats, red and black vinyl covered door panels and black loop carpeting. The interior includes full 1950's instrumentation with a push button radio and added accessories including a driver operated spot light, 2 additional electric switches under the dash, a tray mounted between the dash and transmission hump for possibly some type of two way radio and a large spring loaded whip antenna mounted just forward of the trunk on the left rear fender. An electric fuel pump feeds the engine, heat shields have been added to the engine at the carburetor and coil and a hand crafted fan shroud to help keep the temperature down and accentuate modern driving habits. Registered in Iowa prior to the issuance of the valid Florida title on 5-2-88.

Rating Definition:

Very good as repainted many years ago, with scattered minor chips. Some buffing may be needed to bring out the luster on the front fenders. The wheels have one mismatched tire, but all seem in good condition. We have had it running, but it might need a gas tank and fuel pump. As is, where is, but we cannot guarantee the vehicle. We advise you to have a compentent mechanic inspect it.
