Description:

1) Ivory topped sword cane, 38" total length with brass tip, 1 1/10" thick hardwood shaft with carved dragon designs, and 3" long horn and carved ivory head with gold paint and scrimshaw accents. Brass collar with spring loaded retainer, revealing a 19" single edged sword blade, unmarked. 2) Horn topped sword cane, 34 1/2" total length, iron and brass tip, 9/10" thick hardwood shaft with carved accents, and a 1 9/10" wide horn knob top. Blade is single edged, 22 1/4" long. 3) Silver topped walking stick, 39 1/4" total length, rubber capped brass tip, 2/3" thick hardwood shaft, and a 5 9/10" long cylindrical silver head, with raised floral vine designs, textured backgrounds and an inscription panel with hallmarks on the side. 4) Pat Crawford Custom ivory fitted dagger cane, 35" long, with an iron and nickel tip, 9/10" thick gray painted shaft, and a 4 1/2" long ivory tusk grip. Single edged blade, 8 1/2" long, signed "Crawford" on the left side, with ball detent collar retention.

Rating Definition:

1) Very good, with a few small chips and dents on the wood, attractive grip, and light spotting and sharpening marks on the blade. 2) Fair, as repaired, with filled-in areas of the shaft, cracks, and pitting on the blade. 3) Excellent, with minor wear on the shaft, cracking of the rubber, and a fine patina forming on the silver. 4) Excellent, with some minor paint loss on the shaft, light age cracks and attractive color on the ivory, and minimal handling marks on the blade.
