Class: Antique
Description:

Manufactured from 1860 to 1868. The top of the rib has the two line address/patent dates (1855, 1859 and 1865) marking and a half moon front sight. Has the 5-shot fluted cylinder and a spur trigger. Blue barrel, cylinder and frame. Fitted with pearl grips.

Rating Definition:

Good. The revolver retains 40% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina with some pin point pitting and some scattered minor spotting. Traces of blue remain in the cylinder flutes. The grips are fine with some light chipping along the edges and some light scratches, with a chipped toe on the right panel. Mechanically needs work as the cylinder does not rotate when action is cycled and barrel is loose.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The pistol retains 30% faded original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina with some mild pitting and some light spotting. The trigger guard has a mottled gray patina. The undersized grips are fine with a few minor scratches and few small chips on the edges, along with a minor chip missing at the top on the right panel. The pearl has aged to a yellow color. Mechanically functions but lock up intermittently.
