Manufactured in 1928. Standard two line address / 1897, 1903 patent date marking on the left side of the slide with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations and "COLT AUTOMATIC / CALIBRE .380 HAMMERLESS" on the right side of the slide. "1 / "VP" proof on the upper left front of the trigger guard and "48" on the opposite. Nickel Colt marked magazine and fitted with smooth pearl grips.

Excellent. The pistol retains 98% of the original nickel finish with a small minor blemish on the left front of the slide and overall light scratches. The grips are also excellent with a few very small chips around the right side screw escutcheon, otherwise only light handling marks. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
