Manufactured in 1904. Fixed sights, standard markings. Checkered circular cylinder latch on the left side of the frame, a pinned barrel, 7-round fluted cylinder, casehardened hammer and trigger, and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with a diamond pattern around the screw and the "S&W" Monogram embossed at the top of each panel. Complete with factory letter stating the gun was shipped September 8, 1904 to Marcus Hartley Co, New York, NY and confirms the 3 1/2" barrel, blue finish and hard rubber grips.

Very fine as professionally refinished. The revolver retains 98% of the blue finish with only a thin drag line and light handling marks. The grips are excellent and have aged to a deep brown color with some handling marks and nicks overall. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured in 1916. Two line address/patent dates marked on top of the barrel, "22 S&W CTG" on the left side and the S&W logo on the left side of the frame. Blue finish with casehardened trigger and hammer. Fitted with smooth walnut grips with S&W medallions. Complete with factory letter that states there is no record of this revolver ever being shipped. It further states that it was "probably manufactured in June of 1916".

Very good plus. The barrel and frame retain 60% of the original blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the balance. There are a few areas of light pitting scattered on the frame. The cylinder shows 40% thinning original blue with strong blue in the flutes. There is some light pitting on the cylinder as well as a few gouges. The grips are good with handling marks and a chip on each panel near the butt. Mechanically needs work, does not function properly in double action and cylinder will not swing out.
