Manufactured in 1940. Fixed sights, with the two line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, and "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" on the reverse below the ejection port. Frame is marked "P/ VP" on the left and "79" on the right of the trigger guard, with checkered thumb safety and checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions.

Excellent. The pistol retains 99% plus of the original blue finish with only a couple minor dings on the upper left of the slide and some light edge wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent plus and have sharp, crisp checkering. Magazine absent.
