Manufactured in 1983, this pistol is fully covered with oak leaf pattern engraving with a punch dot background and has a gold-plated finish with no import marks. The wrap-around grips are white plastic with checkered panels and the Walther Banner at the top and "MADE IN GERMANY" on the bottom of the left panel. The sides of the trigger are lightly engraved and the right side of the chamber is cross-hatched as well as being marked with the Eagle "N" and Ulm antler on each side of "ID". The Walther Banner and the factory legend, caliber and model designation are marked in a panel on the left side of the slide. The commercial "Eagle/N" proof mark and the serial number are surrounded by raised panels on the right side of the slide. The serial number is marked vertically on the right side of the frame behind the trigger above "MADE IN GERMANY". The magazine in the pistol is gold plated and unmarked with a white plastic extension. Complete with a factory case that is covered in blue leatherette and lined with wine colored velvet and an extra gold plated magazine that is unmarked and has a diamond pattern engraved on the floor plate. The exterior of the lid is decorated with the Walther Banner and it has the original factory test target.

Near new. The pistol retains 99% plus of the original gold finish with light surface scratches on the unengraved surfaces and minor scratches on the barrel. The grips are as new. All markings and engraving are crisp and clear. The case is excellent.
