Manufactured in Belgium from 1962 to 1974. This version of the Browning Challenger pistol features the Renaissance factory engraving, a scroll floral engraving that is extensively featured on the slide and sides of the frame. The engraving surrounds the two line address/"MADE IN BELGIUM" marking on the left side of the chamber as well as the two line caliber/patent marking on the reverse. The engraving is also featured very lightly around the ramp blade front sight, on the trigger guard, and surrounding the serial number on the front grip strap. Fitted with checkered and scroll carved grips.

Excellent, with 99% plus original finish with some very light speckling on the front grip strap. The grips are also excellent with only the slightest handling marks.
