Manufactured in 1984, this revolver commemorates the 35th Anniversary of Arvo Ojala as the "Gun Coach For Hollywood". Arvo Ojala was the worlds fastest draw and technical advisor to motion pictures and television. The revolver is completely finished in 24 carat gold and has full coverage of floral scroll and punch dot engraving done by Master Engraver Robert Valade. In addition to the standard barrel and frame markings, the right side of the barrel is engraved "ARVO OJALA COMMEMORATIVE" and the backstrap is engraved "NO.1" at the top and below that "THIRTY-FIFTH ANNIVERSARY / GUN COACH FOR HOLLYWOOD". The bottom of the frame above the serial number is signed "Valade". The revolver is fitted with a one piece smooth ivory grip. The revolver is equipped with a special customized action for the fast draw. The hammer spur is curved to the right and it feels as if the hammer spring has been lightened. The revolver is accompanied by a Colt Collectors Association letter dated April 27, 2006, verifying the 24 carat gold finish, barrel length, engraving and engraver, barrel and backstrap inscriptions, date of manufacture and a number of items that accompanied the gun at the top the letter was written. Also with the revolver the presentation case with inscribed commemorative plaque and red fitted lining, two Arvo Ojala signed typed and notarized letters, a hand written letter dated December 15, 1994 from Robert Valade stating that his records indicate that he engraved this revolver the 8th month of 1987, Ojala's book "The Secrets of The Fast Draw" and a Ojala autographed photo of this revolver.

Excellent as custom embellished. In near new condition with only storage type handling marks.
