Description:

Manufactured in 1903. Fixed sights, with the checkered panels on the front of the slide, "PATENTED/ APR.20.1897. SEPT.9. 1902" followed by "COLT'S PT.F.A.MFG.CO./HARTFORD, CT.U.S.A." on the left side and "AUTOMATIC COLT/CALIBRE 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" and "MODEL 1902" on the right. Fitted with a checkered round spur hammer, left side slide catch, niter blue trigger and squared butt with a lanyard ring on one side. Checkered hard rubber grips, with "COLT" banners at the top and Rampant Colt imprints in the center.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 75% plus of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina on the grip straps, the sides of the frame and on top of the slide, along with scattered handling marks and small areas of pitting. Grips are excellent, with light pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
