Manufactured without sights, with the receiver fitted with Burris scope mounts. The right side of the barrel is script marked "Wichita Engineering & Supply, Inc. / Wichita Kansas U.S.A." followed by "17 Rem" and the right side of the receiver is script marked "Wichita Classic" and "No. 79". All markings are highlighted. The octagon action and octagon barrel flow together and appear as one piece. The rifle has a jeweled bolt that is left ported with left hand bolt and single set trigger. Fancy checkered pistol grip stock and forearm with raised L.H. cheekpiece, hinged floor plate with trigger guard release, and Pachmayr Old English recoil pad.

Excellent, with virtually all of the original blue finish remaining with a few minor scratches. The stock is also excellent with some minor dings and a few minor scratches. The checkering is sharp.
