Uses a U.S. Springfield action (manufactured c. 1870s-1880s). Breechblock lacks markings with the exception of "46" on the underside. Fitted with a Sharps barrel featuring the Bridgeport address and measures at .45 caliber.

Good overall with a mottled brown-gray patina, pitting heavier on the blued trigger guard, sanded/re-oiled stock with chip at forend tip, dings and scratches. Mechanically fine.
