Bore Condition: The bore is mostly shiny with pitting and distinct rifling.
Description:

Factory letter states the revolver was shipped on September 11, 1915 and delivered to G. Amsinck & Co. of New York City with a 6 inch barrel, nickel finish, fixed sights, and checkered black hard rubber round butt grips. The letter goes on to state that Amsinck was "a large exporter to the South American market" and this "market preferred the .38 Perfected Model without the side cylinder release." This example lacks the side cylinder release.

Rating Definition:

Very good overall with original finish, gray and dark patina on the balance, handing marks, initials hand marked on frame, distinct grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.
