Manufactured circa 1939-1945, with the imperial "chrysanthemum" crest retained on the receiver ring. "CAL W784516" stenciled onto the bottom of the magazine floor plate.

Fine as refinished and upgraded, retaining much of the finish with a mostly grey patina on the cut-down and re-crowned barrel, silvering on the modified bolt handle, scattered minor edge wear, and a few mild handling marks. The custom replacement stock is very fine as varnished. Mechanically functions.

Fine as refinished and upgraded, with a cut-down barrel, replacement front sight, some scattered minor thinning with some brown patina and minor freckling, along with some light handling marks. The stock is very good as modified, sanded, and re-oiled with an absent buttplate and some scattered minor compression marks. Mechanically functions.
