Description:

Third type Justice rifled musket manufactured in 1861. "W.C.CO." and "MGM CB27" marked barrel indicating use by the famous Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, producers of many iconic historical films to include "Gone with the Wind".

Rating Definition:

Very good as a Civil War era musket that was used as a Hollywood prop with gray-brown patina, front sight absent, and replacement front barrel band. The stock is fine as refinished with cracks, chips, and mild wear overall. Mechanically excellent.
