Manufactured c. the 19th century. Marked "W.P. MARSTON MAKER TORONTO" on the top flat of the .40 caliber rifle barrel. Both locks marked "MARSTON".

Fair with a darkened brown patina, scattered surface oxidation, triggerguard tang screw absent, and pitting. Stock is good with some small cracks and softened checkering. Mechanically needs work as the right hammer doesn't lock back and the rear trigger is broken.
