The pistol was manufactured by Claude Coignet of St. Etienne, France, in the late 18th century. Fitted with belt hook.

Very good with a dark grey patina, wear marks throughout, and a crack in the brass trigger guard. Minor chips and repairs in the stock. Mechanically functions.
