This rifle is a deluxe commercial version of the Swiss Model 1851 Feldstutzer by Sebastian Diem in Mannheim, Germany, in the mid-19th century. It features a globe front sight, bayonet mount on the right, adjustable rear sight, adjustable peep sight, double set triggers, and Swiss buttplate.

Fine overall with bright original gold, original finish mixed with smooth gray and brown patina, minor oxidation and fairly minor overall wear. Mechanically fine.
