Bore Condition: The bore is shiny with crisp rifling and some limited minor pitting/frosting near the muzzle.
Description:

Manufactured c. 1940. "945" code, "1940" date marked, and "eagle/swastika" proofed receiver ring. Matching "7211" serial number on the "J9" bolt. Fitted with a laminate birch handguard and a non-matching numbered laminate birch stock with distinctive left side added steel plate on the butt.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with some of the original finish retained in protected areas with thinning and mostly smooth brown patina on the balance along with mild edge wear, scattered minor patches of spotting/freckling, light cycling wear, dried grease, scattered light handling marks, and clear stamps. The replacement stock is good as sanded with cracks at the tangs and numerous scattered light scuffs and scrapes. Mechanically excellent.
