Bore Condition: The bore is darkened with visible rifling and frosting.
Description:

Lock dated "186" (final digit has been lost). "V/P/eagle head" on the barrel and "RICHMOND, VA" marking in front of the rear sight dovetail. Also features a brass forend cap and buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Fair overall with brown and grey patina throughout, pitting around and behind the bolster, absent rear sight, moderate wear, shortened barrel, various replaced parts, and a broken swivel on the triggerguard.The refinished stock has scattered dings and cracks. Mechanically functions.
