Accompanying factory letter states this revolver is accompanied by a factory letter confirming its configuration. 7 1/2" barrel, blue and casehardened with plated brass triggerguard and back strap, varnished walnut stocks and extra .36 percussion blued cylinder without cylinder roll scene. The letter also states that this revolver was shipped to Greg Martin Auctions 660 Third Street, Suite 100 San Francisco, California on October 16, 2008. The remarks state "Subject revolver was a sample and display piece kept by the Colt factory". With Colt Blackpowder grey box and extra cylinder.

Very good overall with original finish, minimal wear, spotting on the plated surfaces and at the muzzle. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good.
