Description:

Lock plate and barrel tang dated "1852". Faint cartouche outlines on the left side flat of the stock. Various regiment/company markings carved into the buttstock. "JRE" scratched into the buttstock. With U.S. marked socket bayonet.

Rating Definition:

Poor overall with grey patina and pitting throughout, bored out barrel, and dings, scratches, and chips on the stock. Mechanically functions.
