Manufactured c. early 19th century and cut back at the muzzle and fitted with a bayonet lug, a common alteration for civilian arms pressed into militia service. The lock is marked "R/KINGSLAND & Co/WARRANTED".

Good as reconverted to flintlock with a mix of dark brown patina and applied blue/brown finish, moderate oxidation/pitting concentrated at the breech, some chips and cracks in the stock, and moderate overall wear. Mechanically fine.
