1953 production receiver, "LMR" marked and "5 53" dated barrel with parkerized chamber ring, "IHC/X" bolt, "IHC" operating rod, and "IHC" trigger housing with "IHC" hammer. Fitted with a pair of walnut handguards and a walnut stock marked with "AOD/AAW" and a spurious "ordnance wheel" stamp on the left of the wrist. Includes a J. & T. Tool Co. M5 bayonet, a M8 sheath, and a M1 pattern web sling.

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, retaining most of the finish with some light pitting under the finish, some minor cycling wear, some minor edge wear, and some light handling marks. The stock is fine as sanded and re-oiled with a few scattered minor compression marks. Mechanically excellent. The bayonet is fine.
