Bore Condition: The bore is partially darkened with visible rifling and oxidation.
Description:

Manufactured c. 1871-1872. This cutaway is photographed and documented as number 329 in "The Karl F. Moldenhauer Collection of Remington Arms" and is noted as made from a New York State contract musket. Left side of the tang marked "KM-667". Includes patent letter.

Rating Definition:

Good overall with gray/brown patina, mild wear, and some oxidation. Mechanically excellent.
