Manufactured in 1855. Small "anchor" stamp on rear of barrel, "CAPT" stamped on left side of grip.

Fair as refinished, with a mixed brown and gray patina on the steel components, bright polished brass, and scattered spotting and wear overall. Some areas show filing/polishing, with a "divot" in the left side of the frame running through the patent marking, and some mixed or absent numbers. Grips are fair, slightly undersized with rounded corners and mild dings. Mechanically functions.
