Description:

Manufactured c. 1863-1865. Faint cartouche. With a Civil War weapons search letter from Antique American Firearms of Barrington, Illinois, stating this carbine fall in the serial number range of known Burnside carbines issued to the 6th Indiana Volunteer Cavalry, April 1865.

Rating Definition:

Fair overall with mixed patina, pitting, refinished wood. Mechanically excellent.
